Thieving is a skill that is used for many things that can help you in
the game. It can help you with many things:

-Making gp
-Farming
-Cooking
-Magic
-Smithing
-Getting to new areas
-Much more that I can't think of

anyway, many people will say that Thieving isn't a worthwhile skill. I believe
it is a worthwhile skill, because it can help you get tons of runes if you are a
high enough level to open chests and pickpocket NPCs. I have made well over
400k by pickpocketing NPCs. Anyways, lets get to the better part of the
walkthrough. Next is Part II, Thieving.(senyuk)

+=======III. Methods/Where to Train Thieving=======+

Where to Find NPCs
----------------------------

Man/Women (Lv 1)- Located all over the World Map, usually in bigger cities, such
as Ardougne, Varrock, Falador.

Farmers (Lv 10)- Located around farms. Some of the most common places to find
them are on farms North of Ardougne and scattered around Lumbridge.

Warrior Woman (Lv 25)- Located inside and North of Ardougne.

Al Kharid Warriors (Lv 25)- Located inside the Al Kharid Palace.

Rogue (Lv 32)- Located at the Rogue Castle, in the member's part of the
Wilderness.

Master Farmer (Lv 38)- Located in the Draynor Village Market.

Guard (Lv 40)- Located around the entrances of Falador, Varrock, and Ardougne.

Fremennik (Lv 45)- Located in Relekka.

Bandit (Lv 53)- Located in Northern Pollnivneach.

Knight of Ardougne (Lv 55)- Located in Ardougne Castle and Ardougne Marketplace.

Yanille Watchmen (Lv 65)- Located in the Yanille Watchtower.

Menaphite Thug (Lv 65)- Located in Southern Pollnivneach.

Paladin (Lv 70)- Located at the Ardougne Castle and Ardougne Marketplace.

Gnome (Lv 75)- Located at Gnome Stronghold and Tree Gnome Village.

Hero (Lv 80)- Located at Ardougne Marketplace.


Best Way to Train Thieving
--------------------------------------
Lv 1 to Lv 5- Train on Men, preferrably by Ardougne, because when you hit Lv 5
Thieving, you want to be near the Baker's Stall.

Lv 5 to Lv 10- Steal from the Stalls in Ardougne Marketplace, stock up as much
food as you can until you are Lv 10 Thieving.

Lv 10 to Lv 20- Pickpocket Farmers, use the cakes that you got from Stealing
from the Stalls in Ardougne Marketplace.

Lv 20 to Lv 25- Steal from the Silk stall, it is a good idea to store the silk
in your bank, because a few days later, you can sell them back to the Silk
Merchant for 60gp each at the most.

Lv 25 to Lv 35- Pickpocket Warrior Women or Al Kharid Warriors, they're usually
in groups and the money they give isnt too bad. If you are running low on food,
go steal more from the Baker's Stall.

Lv 35 to Lv 38- Steal from the Fur Stall, you can sell Grey Wolf Furs to a Fur
Trader in Varrock for 120gp ea, that can be used to buy more food.

Lv 38 to Lv 40- If you're not big on Farming, Pickpocket from the Master Farmers
anyway, because you can at least sell the seeds for some gp.

Lv 38 to Lv 55- If you like Farming, train on the Master Farmers, and keep the
seeds also.

Lv 40 to Lv 55- Pickpocket from guards, they only hit 2's, and you get 40gp per
successful pickpocketing.

Lv 55 to Lv 70- Pickpocket from Knights of Ardougne, they give 50 gp per
successful pickpocketing, and they only hit 3's if you're caught. Bring food on
every trip.

Lv 55 to Lv 99- You can Pickpocket Knights of Ardougne to 99. This isn't a bad
idea, you'll probably get 3-5 mil gp if you do this.

Lv 70 to Lv 99- This is probably the best idea, especially if you are Lv 80
Thieving. If you pickpocket Paladins to Lv 99, this will get you 100k+ Chaos
runes, and somewhere around 5-10 mil gp. They give alot of xp too (151.75), and
they only hit 3's.

Worst Methods to Train Thieving
==========================
Lv 32, Rogues- This is a very bad idea, seeing that it's in the Wilderness.
don't do this unless you're going for the lockpick, and even if you are doing
that, get out of there as soon as you can.

Lv 53, Bandits- This is a bad idea, you can hit them over the head with an
oak/willow blackjack, but it is not recommended, because it is time consuming.

Lv 65, Menaphite Thugs- Once again, this is a bad idea, mainly because it is a
waste of time with the Blackjack.




+======IV. Random Events ======+

Watchmen- This is the most common Random Event, he comes out and says "
(RSname), you're under arrest!), they are Lv 13, 49, 79, 120, and 158,
depending on your Combat Lv.
(Senyuk)
Strange Plant- This is also common, and it comes out alot when you pickpocket at
a constant pace. Watch out, it can poison you.

Genie- Comes out when you pickpocket at a constant pace. Pretty rare, and gives
you xp in any stat. (Lv of stat chosen x 10)

Mysterious Man- Gives you a box, sometimes containing gems and very rarely
containing half keys.


+====== V. Ending/ About Me ======+

I finally got the major parts of this walkthrough done, and it's been
fun writing this Guide. I've been playing RS since June 2004, and Became a member in November 2004. Since then,
I've gained 1200 total levels, and 81 Combat Levels. I don't know when I'm
